Privacy Policy for Clipboard to Speech

1. Overview

Clipboard to Speech ("the App") is an Android application developed by RiseNova Nexus ("we", "us", "our"). The App reads text from your device's clipboard and converts it to speech using the text-to-speech engine already installed on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is handled.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect, log, or transmit any personal data, clipboard content, or usage information to RiseNova Nexus or to any third party. Specifically:

• No account or sign-in is required to use the App.
• No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs are integrated into the App.
• No clipboard text, voice output, or app settings are uploaded to any server.
• No cookies, device identifiers, or advertising IDs are collected.

3. How the App Works

When you use the App, it reads the current contents of your device clipboard and passes that text directly to the Android TextToSpeech system service, which is provided by your device's operating system (or the TTS engine you have installed, such as Google Text-to-Speech). This entire process happens locally on your device. Clipboard text is processed only for the purpose of reading it aloud and is not saved by the App after use, unless the App explicitly offers an in-app history feature — in which case that history is stored only in local app storage on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

4. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core function:

• Clipboard access — to read the text you want converted to speech. Clipboard content is read only when you actively trigger the read-aloud action and is never sent off your device.

The App does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, storage of personal files, or any other sensitive device data.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties, because we do not collect any user data in the first place. The App relies on the operating system's built-in text-to-speech engine, which runs locally on your device and is governed by your device manufacturer's or Google's own policies, not ours.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since no data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our servers. Any local settings or optional history stored by the App remain on your device and are removed automatically when you uninstall the App, or can be cleared at any time from your device's app storage settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the App collects no personal data at all, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Because the App does not transmit or store personal data outside your device, there is no server-side data for us to secure. Data handled by the App is subject to the standard security protections provided by the Android operating system.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
